Invisalign is a technology that was created to help straighten teeth; it uses a set of aligners that were custom made for you, the patient.  The aligners are made of safe plastic that is smooth, very comfortable and invisible so that they are not seen when you wear them over your teeth.  We will produce the correct Invisalign for you by taking a digital 3D image of your teeth, as well as X-rays, and some pictures of your mouth to ensure that we have made the correct size and fit for your mouth.  The aligners are made of FDA approved, medical level plastic which will in no way damage or cause harm to your body.

As you wear Invisalign braces, your teeth will shift slightly in the position adjusted by your dentist.  You will not see any metal brackets on your teeth, nor will the dentist need to tighten any elastic.  The braces have to be worn for at least 22 hours per day, the idea is that the longer they are worn during the day, the faster the teeth will get fixed.  The braces put pressure on your teeth and push them gently to the desired place.  The average timeframe that a patient will need to wear Invisalign to have their teeth straightened is approximately 1 year but it can also range from 6 months to 2 years depending on the amount of treatment required.  We will replace a new set of aligners every 2 weeks, until the treatment is complete and successful.  You will notice a gorgeous smile with hardly any intrusion in your day-to-day activities.  The greatest part of wearing Invisalign is that no one will be aware that you are wearing braces to adjust your teeth.
